One fully private room and three semi-private rooms. Up to 6 guests. They have their own smoke extraction, so charcoal-grilled dishes are served here only. Perfect for business entertaining and small gatherings.

For Every Occasion

Banquets & after-parties: In tatami rooms for up to 30 guests. Our omakase kaiseki (Take ¥5,500 / Matsu ¥7,700) and choose-your-hot-pot courses are firm favourites.
Memorial gatherings (otoki): For the meal shared after a Buddhist memorial service, we prepare quietly composed set meals such as the Makunouchi kaiseki (¥4,950) and Shokado kaiseki (¥6,050), well suited to a calm, respectful occasion.
Celebrations & family introductions: To mark a special day, add a full crab or fugu course. Take your time in a private room or on the tatami.
Business entertaining & dinners: We recommend the fully private horigotatsu room. Impress your guests with fish bought at auction that never reaches Kyoto's markets.
Family get-togethers: The tatami rooms are relaxed and welcoming, children included. If you have any questions, just give us a call.

How many people can you seat for a banquet?

Open up the partition between the two tatami rooms and we can seat up to 30. A full buyout of the restaurant holds up to 60. We welcome large parties for banquets, celebrations and memorial gatherings alike.

Can I book for a memorial gathering or business dinner?

Yes. For the meal shared after a Buddhist memorial service we suggest the Makunouchi kaiseki (¥4,950) or Shokado kaiseki (¥6,050); for business entertaining, the fully private horigotatsu room.
